Smokey Bear’s 75th Birthday Celebration

Come on down and join the Stanislaus National Forest, along with CAL-FIRE, Tuolumne County Fire, local Law Enforcement and EMS for Smokey Bear’s 75th birthday celebration. “The True Story of Smokey Bear” will be told and a birthday card making station will open at 10 a.m. at the Tuolumne County Library located at 480 Greenley Road, Sonora CA 95370.

The party and public safety event will be held at the Heaven for Kids Park next door, immediately following story time. The party will run from approximately 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Please come out and join us for this free event where you can learn all about personal and fire safety, meet your local emergency services personnel, and play games with birthday goodie bags for kids! We look forward to seeing you.
