Smokey to Throw First Pitch at Rays Game in Honor of First Responder Day

Smokey Bear will be joining the fun at a spring training game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Pittsburgh Pirates!

Once Smokey has thrown out the first pitch, those in attendance will get the chance to sing happy birthday to him. Plus, the Florida Forest Service will be on-hand to answer questions about Firewise (a wildfire mitigation program for homeowners and communities) and wildfire prevention, as well as handing out Smokey Bear baseballs and other novelty items.
